It includes electric cars, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles. We try to focus on information that could be of particular interest to residents of the State of Maine, USA.
The EVMaine.org Mission
To mitigate Global Climate Change by increasing pubilc awareness and acceptance of zero emissions battery electric vehicles in Maine.
To reduce reliance on expensive, unstable and dwindling imported oil supplies by encouraging Mainers to buy, build and drive battery electric vehicles
To reduce pollution in Maine by promoting zero emissions battery electric vehicles here.
To encourage the installation of inexpensive public charging stations
To advocate for the emerging Battery Electric Vehicle Industry in Maine.
The EVMaine.org Staff:
The Director is William Drinkwater. He was born and raised in Maine. He has a BA in Liberal Arts from Sonoma State University in California and a BS in Public Administration from the University of Maine at Augusta. He is retired and lives in Belmont, Maine near the small coastal city of Belfast.
There are currently no other staff or volunteers with this website.
