Apple TV + releases trailer for “The Tragedy of Macbeth”

“The Tragedy of Macbeth” has just received its first trailer.

Apple TV + has just released the trailer for “The Tragedy of Macbeth”, Joel Coen’s latest film. You can check out the official trailer below:

From Oscar winner Joel Coen, The Macbeth Tragedy stars Denzel Washington and Frances MacDormand. Released in theaters December 25. Streaming on Apple TV + on January 14.

Apple originally announced the new movie in May. It is created by Joel Coen and stars Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand.

The cast of “The Tragedy of Macbeth” also includes Bertie Carvel, Alex Hassell, Corey Hawkins, Kathryn Hunter, Harry Melling and Brendan Gleeson. The film brings together frequent Coen collaborators, including Bruno Delbonnel as cinematographer, Mary Zophres as costume designer and a score by Carter Burwell. In addition to directing, Coen is producing the film alongside McDormand and Robert Graf. The film is an A24 and IAC production.

Critically acclaimed feature films from Apple Original Films and A24 include “On The Rocks”, by Oscar winner Sofia Coppola and starring Rashida Jones and Bill Murray; the winner of the Sundance Film Festival’s “Boys State” Grand Jury Prize, which also won two Critics Choice Documentary Awards and the SXSW Louis Black “Lone Star” Award; and YA’s upcoming adaptation “The Sky is Everywhere,” directed by Josephine Decker and starring Grace Kaufman, Cherry Jones and Jason Segel.
