Black Clover Teases New Movie With Special Trailer

black clover released a massive teaser for the new film in the franchise with a special new trailer giving fans an idea of what to expect from its feature debut! When the anime adaptation of Yuki Tabata’s original manga series wrapped up last year, it was announced that the franchise would be continuing with an all-new movie. But unfortunately for fans, very little has been revealed about the production at this time. As the manga now celebrates its seventh anniversary in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, fans finally have a better idea of what to expect.

With a special trailer commemorating black clover, it has been confirmed that the movie will premiere in Japan sometime in 2023. While this release window might be a bit harsh for fans who are really looking forward to seeing more anime, the trailer also features a bit of what we can expect the movie to look like with some action scenes featuring Asta, Yuno, Yami and more. Whether or not this is from the new movie is hard to tell just yet, but it sure looks cool! Check it out as posted by Shueisha below:

Although most of the production cast, staff or story details have yet to be revealed, it has been confirmed that series creator Yuki Tabata will be the chief supervisor and designer of characters for the black clover movie. If the teaser visuals here are any indication of what the new film will include, then it could be a new story crafted specifically for the film. The TV anime ended on a cliffhanger that cut right before the events of the Spade Kingdom Raid arc, and given that the arc might have too much to cover in 90 minutes to two hours, one wonders. whether or not it will be an original instead.

The visuals here feature a Yami before his capture at the end of the anime, an Asta who has yet to unlock all of his demonic powers, and a Yuno whose power is still incomplete. Since the anime has a two-day period between the events of the manga follow-up arc, it could end up jumping right back into the events of the anime if the TV series returns in the future with more episodes. But what do you think? What would you like to see in black clover first movie? Let us know all your thoughts on this in the comments!
