Bodies Bodies Trailer Turns Party Game Into Slasher Whodunnit

Body Body Body heads to the theaters on August 5, 2022and this morning A24 follows up on yesterday’s poster reveal with the first official trailer.

the Body Body Body trailer teases how insane the latest A24 will go in both biting humor and gory violence as it turns a seemingly benign board game into something far deadlier when a group of friends implode . Watch the trailer below!

“Violence, bloody images, drug use, sexual references and pervasive language.”

In the horror-comedy A24, “When a group of wealthy twenty-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game turns deadly in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends and a very, very bad party.”

I wrote in my review for BD: “Using a familiar game of social deduction to implode a wealthy group of fake friends in the most heinous of ways creates a moment of demented fun that’s just as mean-spirited with horror as it is with comedy.”

The cast for Body Body Body understand Amandla Stenberg (The hate you give), Maria Bakalova (Borat Next Movie), pete davidson (The Suicide Squad), Rachel Sennott (Baby Shiva), Myha’la Herrold (Generation), Chase Sui Wonders (Palm Springs), and Lee Pace (guardians of the galaxy).

Halina Reijn directed Body Body Body for A24, written by Kristen Roupenian, Sarah Delappe, Chloe Okuno (V/H/S/94, observer), Joshua Sharpand Aaron Jackson. Body Body Bodywhich made its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, marks Reijn’s second effort following his thriller debut Instinct.
