Equipment specialist, BPW Transpec, is launching its new generation Ringfeder RF50 which will replace the current 303AUS and 303AUS AM/RL models.
There are two new models, the manually operated RF50 B AUS MSD and the automatic RF50 AUS AM/RL.
BPW Transpec Ringfeder product manager Wayne Koppman says the new model is a huge improvement over its predecessors and will hit Australian shelves towards the end of this month.
“The new coupling is more compact in design,” he said.
“The hitch body is tougher than ever against impacts, and it’s now more user-friendly thanks to its new ergonomic design with a hand lever that makes it easier to use the manual hitch.
“It has an all-new safety feature designed to be easier to maintain, with a stronger design also improved.”
According to Koppman, the coupling enjoys extensive customer feedback and has been tested in various terrains, applications and conditions over the past three years.
“It’s been tested here in Australia for two to three years with VBG Ringfeder with up to 15 different customers in different parts of Australia,” he said.
“It’s been tested for a good year in a row, just like it was before release, so there’s no problem. We know it’s tougher, stronger and more reliable than ever with Ringfeder products.
The coupling features the same mounting hole patterns and designs as previous models, meaning it can be bolted on directly. It also has the same existing homologation numbers as the valid old to maintain consistency with compliance.
