Curse of the Stars trailer; Roman and Greek-inspired RPGs coming this fall

Publisher tinyBuild has announced that it will publish the Roman and Greek inspired RPG Asterigos: Curse of the Stars, in addition to showing its first trailer! The game is also part of the publisher’s booth at PAX East, and you can check out the trailer and more details about the game below.

Developed by Acme Gamestudio and inspired by the many Soul-likes of the RPG genre, Asterigos: Curse of the Stars follows Hilda, a warrior traveling through the monster-infested city of Aphes:

Variety is the spice of war. As the brave young warrior Hilda, players will master a wide arsenal of weapon types, each with their own distinct fighting styles. Sword and shield, double blades, spears, hammers or even magic staves and bracelets. Equip two weapons at once and switch freely between them in battle. Each weapon style offers its own challenges and rewards, and there’s no shortage of enemies to hone your skills against.

With dozens of different monster varieties to face and over twenty boss battles to test your mettle against, the cursed city of Aphes will challenge you before letting you unlock its deepest secrets. Uncover the truth behind the curse through side quests, forgotten documents, and even Hilda’s own diary of sketches, observations, and thoughts.

Besides the trailer, here are the main features of Asterigos: Curse of the Stars:

  • To explore the magnificent city of Aphes inspired by classical Greek designs and uncover the truth behind the city’s curse.
  • Combine and change your weapons on the go. Equip two different weapon types at once and become unpredictable in battle.
  • Battle over 60 different enemies and encounter 22 bosses in the main story and side quests.
  • Decide the fate of Aphes. Every decision you make in Asterigos matters and will affect the story.
  • To find more than 100 collectibles, complete many side quests and forge your destiny in the NewGame+ mode.

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is coming to consoles and PC this fall 2022. You can now list the game on PC via Steam.
