Extendable trailers guide

Discontinued app will be updated with “new trailers and content,” says Blue Box Game Studios

Blue Box Game Studios revealed on Twitter that it will update the Abandoned app with “new trailers and new content”. There is no date that this will fall, but it says shortly, so hopefully we don’t have to wait too long – although the wait is something we’re used to in what concerns Abandoned.

In addition, the studio also provided clarification regarding The Prologue, confirming that it is a standalone experience and not a demo as some had thought.

No, it’s a standalone game. We will provide more information regarding the Prologue shortly on the website. At the same time, we are also in the process of releasing a new trailer for the app, but we cannot provide a specific date for this yet.

Abandoned is currently in development exclusively for the PS5, but has been marred by controversy. Blue Box Game Studios has been slow to provide details about the game, and the rollout of the app has been a pretty complicated affair.

Oh, and let’s not forget to mention that people still think it’s somehow related to Hideo Kojima and Silent Hill. Blue Box Game Studios has yet to set an Abandoned release date but we’ll keep you posted.
