Extendable trailer specs

Hinckley Overlanding designed the GOAT trailer for ATVs and side-to-side enthusiasts

Overlanding normally involves the use of powerful pickup trucks, SUVs, and specialized recreational vehicles. Once you arrive at your destination, all you have to do is set up your camp and enjoy all that follows. For those who prefer to take their ATV or UTV instead, Hinckley Overlanding takes care of them with the GOAT trailer. Now you can enjoy what the big boys are doing!

If you are wondering about compatibility, this caravan can also be towed by larger vehicles. It’s just that this model is compact and just the right weight for side-by-side or single-seater quads. The GOAT is designed for extreme adventures.

Hinckley Overlanding calling it the GOAT is probably referring to two things. First, its rugged, all-purpose build quality could be compared to the attributes of the rugged animal. Second, perhaps it is to boast that this motorhome is the “greatest of all time” among its contemporaries.

Either way, this is shaping up to be a cool platform to enjoy the occasional nomadic experience. The manufacturer uses a 3/16 “steel baseplate and heavy-duty 14-gauge steel for its hull. It relies on a half-axle torsion suspension for impressive ground clearance with wrapped steel wheels. 235 / 7R15 all-terrain tires, which allow GOAT to go wherever you need it.

Once parked, you can deploy the four stabilizer jacks which can support up to 8,000 lbs. The mounting brackets can hold tents or gear, while the rest of your stuff can fit in the 38 “x 63” x 27 “(64,638 cubic inch) storage. Hinckley Overlanding will even match the color of the GOAT to your ride, which is an awesome bonus! Buyers can also add other optional accessories to further customize their trailer.
