The new trailer also shows more people succumbing to the effects of a serious illness, than those familiar with the events of Season 1. of Made in the Abyss will recognize as a result of venturing deep into Abyss. These people are cared for by Vueko, a member of Ganja who appears to have a motherly aspect, further highlighted by scenes of her caring for a baby girl who is discovered on Ganja’s trail.

However, the trailer hints that Vueko has an even bigger role to play in the events of this season, as another character claims that she will be “our savior”. One of the latest shots is of a mysterious relic, accompanied by a voice saying, “What happened to this child’s wish?” In context, it seems the voice is referring to Vueko.
