In WATCHER, Julia (Maika Monroe) joins her husband (Karl Glusman) when he moves to his family’s native Romania for a new job. Having recently given up on her acting career, she frequently finds herself alone and unoccupied. One night, watching people from her bay window, she sees a vague figure in an adjacent building, which seems to be watching her. Shortly after, while alone in a local movie theatre, Julia’s sense of being watched intensifies and she becomes certain she is being followed – could it be the same unknown neighbor? Meanwhile, a serial killer known as The Spider stalks the town.
