Married to Medicine returns in a month, and the cast is excited to share everything when Season 9 premieres on July 10. How do we know? Well, the ladies dropped some exciting teases about what’s in store for them this season as Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe, Toya Bush-Harris and Anila Sajja return for the new season, with Miss Quad Webb returning as part of the main cast. They will also be joined by new friend Audra Frimpong.
“Now why did these people set up like this??? But you all know Miss Quad is going to have a great time with this one!” Quad teased on Instagram about the new season. Dr Heavenly added: ‘Why have they always put me in conflict? Lord, help us!
Toya teased, “Everyone’s FAVORITE Bravo show is back and we’re coming HOT!” Meanwhile, Dr. Contessa simply asked, “Ready?”
Anila posted several Instagrams with juicy previews, writing, “You’ve all been asking, waiting, and begging for the trailer…and here it is.” She added, “It’s going to be lit!!!” as well as “Who’s ready????????”

Dr. Jackie is on a serious mission to enter a new phase of her best life. Her dream home is over, her friendship with Dr. Simone is rekindled, and with her medical practice in overdrive for the first time, she plans to hang up her coat as a full-time doctor to transition into business magnate status. While Dr. Jackie has shared most of her plans with her husband, Curtis, and while he’s on board…their expensive lifestyle is cause for pause. Will Dr. Jackie really be able to let go and slow down or will she fill the void with more business ventures?
Dr. Heavenly embraces her two greatest passions again – expanding her empire and trying to keep her family close – however, as she tries to balance her practice, practicing Dr. Damon, opening her new store of beauty products and preparing her daughter Alaura to go to university, she is above her hair. Also, in the friendship department, Heavenly’s bond with Contessa and some of the ladies needs some fixing after her social media posts left everyone staring at her. As Heavenly tries to pick up the pieces, can she mend her relationships and get things back on track?
Dr Simone is moving in a positive direction, and although she admitted to being “on the little boat” last year, she has now landed for good. His friendship with Dr. Jackie got a fresh start. She is in a very happy and loving place with her husband, Cecil. They have a new business and are ready to put everything on the table to help others by writing a book. Dr. Simone and Cecil have their sights set on making the next bestseller list, if only they can get through the writing process in one piece.
Dr. Contessa is at a crossroads in her life and is determined not to live in confusion anymore. Dr. Contessa and Dr. Scott work to get their relationship mutually agreed. She also ventures into physical training to compete in a bikini body competition, and with her personal life in desperate need of resuscitation, Contessa has grown distant from many of her closest friends, including the Dr Heavenly. Will finding her beauty queen body give her the confidence she needs to finally defend herself in her marriage?
Miss Quad has arrived and is living out her champagne wishes and caviar dreams at her new multi-million dollar home that she bought on her own. Quad is not an empty nest, as she moves in with her mother and her clever 6-year-old nephew, Mason. His life quickly went from an easy-going single life to a house full of family, homework reviews, and chaos in the blink of an eye. She wears many responsibility hats while trying to make time for a dip in the dating pool.
Toya has had the weight of life on her shoulders over the past year and she is ready to shake off the negativity and move on. She and Dr. Eugene have temporarily moved into a new home while they look to build their next forever home. Toya also works to mend friendships, and her marriage to Dr. Eugene will be tested when a whirlwind of rumors begins to spread.
Anila returns to a bit of normality with her husband, Dr. Kiran’s practice in full swing and the construction of their home finally complete. With the sudden departure of their longtime nanny, Anila and Dr. Kiran agree to consider moving her parents in to help with the kids, but at what cost and on what terms? And after a traumatic burglary at her new home, Anila must pick up the pieces and choose between friends and foes.
New friend Audra is a scion of African royalty and a successful real estate lawyer who is engaged to Dr. Martin Curry. They live the American dream with Audra’s son, Kingston. Her fiancé, Dr. Martin, is the man of her dreams and a dentist starting a luxury dental spa practice. Audra and Dr. Martin are a young, dynamic couple who are ushering in the next generation of successful physicians and professionals in Atlanta. Will they integrate well into this close-knit medical group?
