Ms. Marvel Release Date, Cast, Episode List, Trailer, And More

Ms. Marvel is about to bring the dawn of change to the Marvel Universe. The series, the first episode of which airs on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar, introduces us to Marvel’s first Muslim superhero, Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel. This TV miniseries will lay the groundwork for The Marvels’ most anticipated film, which will see Brie Larson reprise her role as Captain Marvel alongside Ms Marvel.

Ms. Marvel release date and time

The first episode of Ms. Marvel was released today, June 8, at 12:30 p.m. IST and Disney will release each new episode on Wednesdays at the same time. The final episode will air nearly a month later on July 13.

Ms. Marvel Episodes

The show will consist of 6 episodes lasting less than 50 minutes. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah direct the opening episode and the season finale. Meera Menon will direct the second and third episodes and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will direct the other two.

Ms. Marvel Cast

Pakistani-Canadian actor Iman Vellani is set to be the Marvel franchise’s first Muslim superhero by becoming Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. Kamala Khan is a Pakistani-American college student who happens to be a huge Captain Marvel fan.

The cast includes several other South Asian actors. Besides Vellani, the Ms. Marvel cast includes Zenobia Shroff as her mother Muneeba Khan, Mohan Kapur as her father Yusuf Khan, Matt Lintz as Khan’s best friend Bruno Carrelli, Yasmeen Fletcher as her friend Nakia Bahadir, Saagar Shaikh as her older brother Aamir Khan, Rish Shah as his crush Kamran, Arian Moayed as Department of Damage Control agent P. Cleary returning after Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Alysia Reiner as Sadie Deever.

We will also see Farhan Akhtar and Fawad Khan in a special appearance.

Ms. Marvel trailer

The first Ms. Marvel trailer was released on March 15, 2022 and promises to be a coming-of-age story for a brunette Muslim girl in America and an original comedy. The trailer, in which Kamala Khan explores her life until she becomes Ms. Marvel, looks promising. Check it here

Ms. Marvel Poster

Marvel also made sure to include South Asian names in the design department. The art of Pakistani designer Shehzil Malik was used for the creation of the poster. He thanked the creators via an Instagram post.
