After the recent unconventional trailers for the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a brand new trailer was released today showcasing the Hisuan regional variations of Zorua and Zoroark, the former looking pretty cute and the latter somewhat threatening.
I’ll be honest, the models and movements are still too stiff and robotic for my liking, but I’m willing to ignore these flaws if the actual gaming experience ends up being satisfying and useful. Only a few more months now.
You can see this new brief trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus below:
Between these revelations and the new components of the combat system, bold steps are being taken here seamlessly. While I wasn’t sold on this title when it was first revealed, these newly revealed footage undoubtedly amplifies the hype.
The pure premise of a Pokemon the title being set so far into the past is pretty appealing, and hopefully the game’s execution does embrace its contextual strengths. Based on the trailer, it certainly seems to be, but we’ll just have to wait and see how every aspect of the game’s design merges early next year.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be released for Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.
