Will the new 2022 Toyota Tundra be sold in global markets other than North America? TFLtruck viewer Ross Watson from Scone NSW Australia asks. Ross owns a 2013 Toyota Tundra V8 that he converted to right-hand drive. He doesn’t drive it too far, but he occasionally tows a 10,000 pound gooseneck horse trailer.
“The Tundra would be a big seller here [in Australia] given the rapid sales of Ram, Chevy Silverado and Ford trucks. Tradesmen, farmers and recreational enthusiasts are all looking for more load and towing capacity. Pictured is my Tundra SR5 with Exiss 3 horsepower trailer. That’s over 10,000 pounds when loaded with horses. It pulls it well with a gooseneck hitch and airbag-assisted suspension. It chews fuel when towing that weight. It is a 2013 model with less than 20,000 km. The way it’s going with the truck prices and the bad deal, I’ll just sit and wait. Although I could sell it for more than it cost me to import it and hide it.“
