Power outage delayed for a week in Spencer’s trailer yard

A neighborhood in Iowa was given a one-week extension before the city shut off its power. This is continuous coverage at a trailer lot in Spencer from Monday night. Residents and the owner say the city gave them two weeks notice before their power was cut. The city said the shutdown was for health and safety reasons. the closures were originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday. The city pushed it back to July 12.
