Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki Anime Reveal Release Date, Trailer and Visual

The Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki: Geboku no Youkaidomo ni Kurabete Monster ga Yowaisugirunda ga The anime adaptation is slated to premiere in January 2023. A trailer and visual have been released, offering a look at the series’ supernatural action and the main cast of characters.

The anime is directed by Ryousuke Shibuya (Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan general manager) with Yoshinobu Nagayama (Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan director) as chief director, Toko Machida (Pura Oré! Pride of Orange) as a series composer and screenwriter, Masayoshi Kikuchi (Tsukiuta. Animation 2 animation director) and Sayaka Ueno (Don’t hurt me, my healer! animation director) as character designers, and Alisa Okehazama (Jujutsu Kaisen 0 co-composer) as a music composer. White Workshop. is the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the main cast includes Yumiri Hanamori like Seika Lamprogue, Azumi Waki like Efa, Nene Hieda like Amu, and Yuuichiro Umehara like Haruyoshi Kuga.

The Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki light novel series, which is written by Kiichi Kozusu and illustrated by Tibia, started in 2019 and has five volumes as of October 2021. It is released under Futabasha’s M Novels label. A manga adaptation of Toshinori Okazaki started in 2020.


The story follows Haruyoshi, a powerful onmyouji who is on the verge of death after being betrayed by his allies. After attempting a secret reincarnation technique, Haruyoshi is reincarnated in another world into a family of magic users. While he is deemed to have no magical abilities, Haruyoshi perceives magic in this world to be inferior to the onmyouji powers he still possesses, and thus believes he can do without it.

The story originated from a web novel about Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2018, which won the seventh Net Shousetsu Taishou award. A new light novel publication under the Monster Bunko label with illustrations by Yuunagi is scheduled to begin July 29.
