Saints Row customization trailer shows off prosthetic limbs, crazy cars and more

Today, Volition revealed a brand new customization trailer for its upcoming reboot of Saints Row. The video shows everything fans can expect when it comes to customizing in-game items, including plenty of options to modify cars, guns, and character appearances.

You can check out the full Saints Row customization trailer in its entirety below.

As you can see, Saints Row will still be as wacky as ever, with a lot of the same mayhem and weirdness the series is known for. Some of the most noticeable differences in the trailer are that players will have a lot more choices regarding what items they can add to their character, cars, and weapons.

Character customization lets you add things like elf ears and grilles, even going so far as to let your character’s skin color be something as crazy as monochrome. The all-new asymmetric design option will also lead to a lot of crazy creations, as players can create two different characters on the left and right sides of a body if they wish.

Saints Row also offers over 80 cars, all of which are fully customizable, allowing you to add things like paint jobs, kits to make your vehicle look like a shark, and upgrade options like ejection seats. Weapons are also fully customizable, with adjustable material, individual part color, textures, decals, and even visual mods that can turn your RPG into a suitcase gun.

Finally, Headquarters returns to Saints Row, once again letting the Saints customize its appearance to their liking. Add crazy scenery like a tree with a bird-like engine that fires flamethrowers right in the middle of your hearth and many more options by unlocking them in the game’s story missions.
