The crash is located on the ramp from I-44 E to 49 N. Tractor trailer on the side.
It was learned at the scene that the driver, Michel De La Barca Fajardo, 34, of Houston, Texas, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Carthage.
Private BD Vaught of Troop D states in the preliminary report of the accident: “Happened like [2013 Kentworth] left the road and rolled over.”
A large amount of diesel fuel was spilled, we learned from the firefighters. One of the diesel tanks was crushed when the tractor rolled over the edge of the shoulder and partially onto the embankment. Carthage Fire contained the spill and cleared the roadway.
