Netflix is gearing up for the release of its next major animated feature, Bubble, with a special new trailer! It’s likely going to be one of the most important animated movies of the year due to the amount of talent that’s been cast on staff and cast on their own. With a major director, writer, character designer, composer, and cast that is likely to be an anime fan’s dream, and so Bubble proves to be one of the most upcoming releases. promising so far as Netflix prepares a dream team to take over screens around the world later this month.
As it prepares for its launch with Netflix on April 28, Bubble has released a special new trailer showing off another cool look at the new movie. Directed by Tetsuro Araki for WIT Studio (who previously directed Attack on Titan and more), with a script by Gen Urobuchi, character designs by Takeshi Obata, music composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, and a huge stacked list for the cast, you can check out Netflix’s new Bubble trailer below with its main theme, “Bubble feat. Uta” performed by Eve:
Bubble is currently slated for release with Netflix on April 28, and they officially describe the new film as such: “The story takes place in Tokyo, after gravity-breaking bubbles descend upon the world. Cut off from the outside world, Tokyo has become a playground for a group of young people who have lost their families, acting as a battleground for parkour team battles as they jump from building to building. a young ace known for his dangerous style of play, makes a reckless move one day and dives into the gravitational sea.His life is saved by Uta, a girl with mysterious powers who suddenly appears.The couple then hears a unique sound audible only by them. Why did Uta appear before Hibiki? Their encounter leads to a world-changing revelation.”
Bubble features a screenplay by Gen Urobuchi, the co-creator of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Death threat Artist Takeshi Obata provided the original character designs, and famed composer Hiroyuki Sawano (who has composed for Promare, Attack on Titan and more) is composing the film’s music. The voice cast includes Jun Shison, Riria, Mamoru Miyano, Yuki Kaji, Tasuku Hatanaka, Sayaka Senbongi, Marina Inoue, Shinichiro Miki, and Alice Hirose. But what do you think?
