‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Releases New Trailer Starring Christian Bale’s Villain

After enough long teaser, Thor: Love and Thunder has a full official trailer. This time we get a look at Christian Bale’s viscerally named villain Gorr the God Butcher. Plus, there’s another look at Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, aka Thor’s ex-girlfriend, who shockingly appears as Mighty Thor, costume, powers and muscles included. Portman did not appear in the previous film, Thor: Ragnarok.

The initial look at Thor: Love and Thunder didn’t reveal much of a difficult plot for the fourth Thor film, which sees the Avenger and the former King of Asgard (Chris Hemsworth) suffer a seizure. quarantine and go on a journey with the Guardians of the Galaxy, led by a slightly irritated Star-Lord (Chris Pratt).

At one point, Thor faces the aptly named Gorr the Butcher God. “All gods will die,” he states in the trailer.

The trailer’s major moments see Thor working out to lose the weight he gained in Avengers: Endgame. Back in the fight, he comes across a shocking sight: Jane Foster, pumped up as Mighty Thor. They haven’t seen each other for eight years, seven months and six days. We also get a good look at Gorr’s Voldemort-esque appearance – he’s pale, bald, masked, and into the genocide of the gods. And finally, we have our first look at Russell Crowe’s gold-plated Zeus.

“The film finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace,” reads Marvel’s official synopsis. But his retreat is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the Butcher God, who seeks the extinction of the gods. girlfriend Jane Foster, who – for Thor’s Surprise – inexplicably wields her magic hammer, Mjolnir, as Mighty Thor. Together, they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s revenge and the stop before it’s too late.”

Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie takes the throne of Asgard, and Taika Waititi, who returns to direct after Thor: Ragnarok, is also back on screen as the lovable but clueless Korg.
