Thor Returns (Along With The Guardians!) In New ‘Love And Thunder’ Trailer

Chris Hemsworth attends the Cinema Society screening of Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ at The Whitby Hotel on October 30, 2017 in New York City.

It’s been three long years since we saw Chris Hemworth’s Thor soar to the stars with the members of Guardians of the Galaxy in late 2019 Avengers: Endgame, and now we finally see where they went. Disney just released the trailer for the fourth Thor movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, and we see the God of Thunder figuring out what to do with himself in a post-Thanos universe. We see a lot of Thor doing cosmic stuff with the Guardians, and also working on the weight he’s put on. End of Game; we also see him with his friend Korg, whom he met in 2017 Thor: Ragnarok (and who is played by Thor director Taika Waititi). We hear him say, “My superhero days are over,” on Guns N Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” But what will he do next? A heart-to-heart with Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill might give him a clue. And the last scene is a really good reveal, we won’t spoil it for you.

Since we know you want to know: we also see Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, presumably leading Earth’s New Asgard. Watch the trailer below. Thor: Love and Thunder due out July 8, 2022.
