Trailer summary: Cowboy Bebop, Uncharted, Animaniacs

With Halloween looming on the horizon, there are still plenty of tips and treats to keep audiences entertained as the end of October 2021 approaches. In the wake of New York Comic-Con and the DC FanDome , the hype train isn’t slowing down anytime soon as a new wave of trailers and promotions for November premieres as the 2021-2022 regular TV season shifts into high gear and the season’s blockbusters this year’s celebrations are starting to take shape.

Here are all of this week’s biggest and best trailers, teasers, and promotions for film, TV, and video games, including the biggest premieres coming to Hulu and Netflix throughout November.

Animans

After the Animans made their successful return with a new revival series on Hulu last year, with the original voice actors reprising their roles as Warner’s wacky siblings, the trio are back for even more irreverently wacky fun. with its second season to come. Yakko scoffs at the animated series ‘switch to a digital platform, which means the marketing is geared to viewers’ search history, before a montage of the latest antics from the fun set is shown.

Created by Tom Ruegger, season 2 of Animaniacs will air on November 5 on Hulu.

Cowboy Bebop

As one of the most beloved animated series of all time, there was a question as to how Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop would result. The latest teaser promo in the highly anticipated series features the show’s main characters evoking the hip, stylistic approach, and free-wheeling interpersonal dynamics of the anime, with cool, color-coded swagger.

Developed for television by André Nemec, Cowboy Bebop premieres November 19 on Netflix.

Eternals

November is about to kick off with a return to the big screen for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Eternals, bringing the mighty race of the ancients to the fore as the monstrous Deviants resurface after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The latest promo for the upcoming MCU movie reveals that the Shared Cinematic Universe is aware of Superman’s existence, with Ikaris mistaken for the Last Son of Krypton for his similar appearance and power.

Directed and co-written by Chloe Zhao, Eternals hits theaters on November 5.

Flash

Flash is back for its eighth season next month, with Barry Allen teaming up with much of the Arrowverse to kick off the season with a multi-episode, “Armageddon” event. Facing the evil supervillain Despero, Barry realizes he is hitting above his weight and assembles the Justice League formed at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths to help him defeat his new enemy.

Developed for television by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, The Flash Season 8 premieres November 16 on The CW.

Ghost in the shell: SAC_2045

Ahead of Ghost in the shell: SAC_2045The premiere of Season 2, a compilation animated film repeating the first season as a single feature, is slated to air on Netflix next month. Protagonist Motoko Kusanagi takes center stage in trailer for CG animated film, now bearing the full title Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 – Enduring War, as the dream of cyberpunk fever teases its neon-soaked chills.

Directed by Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 – Sustainable Warfare premieres November 12 on Netflix.

Hit-Monkey

Craziest Marvel Assassin Comes In Upcoming Marvel Television Animated Series Hit-Monkey, which premieres on Hulu next month. In the latest trailer for the violent new series, Hit-Monkey dispatched his targets with lethal efficiency while facing the arrival of the fearsome Lady Bullseye, setting up a hitman showdown for the ages.

Developed for television by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, Hit-Monkey premieres November 17 on Hulu.

Mob Psycho 100

It’s been over two years since the anime adaptation of ONE Mob Psycho 100 has completed its second season and Season 3 has been officially confirmed, with a first preview giving fans a glimpse of Shigeo Kageyama’s hard-hitting return. Original voices from the first two seasons and much of the crew will return to the helm in Season 3, teasing even more offbeat action for the popular animated series.

Directed by Takahiro Hasui, Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 is currently in production with no premiere date announced at this time. The first two seasons are now available to stream via Crunchyroll and HBO Max.

A play

One of the most iconic manga / anime franchises in the world is A play, with the animated adaptation reaching its historic thousandth episode next month. Based on Eiichiro Oda’s successful manga series, A play is working hard to commemorate anime’s impressive milestone, with a live event hosted by Toei Animation and Funimation.

The 1000th episode of One Piece will be available to stream through Funimation on November 20.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus

This january Pokémon Legends: Arceus took a more found-based approach with its latest trailer that delves into the history of the Pokemon the Sinnoh region of the franchise, long before the modern events of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. As a Pokémon seeker explores the mountains in the area, they are attacked by a furry pocket monster, abruptly ending the camera feed.

Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be released on January 28 for Nintendo Switch.

Red Notice

One of the most starred original films coming to Netflix this year is the crime caper. Red Notice with Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds. Gadot portrays a notorious international art thief who is followed by an FBI profiler played by Johnson while Reynolds portrays a rival crook playing both sides. And while Johnson and Reynolds bring in the usual muscle, Gadot quickly proves that she can more than stand up to her testosterone-fueled pursuers.

Written, directed and produced by Rawson Marshall Thurber, Red Notice will receive a limited theatrical release on November 5 before arriving on Netflix on November 12.

Riverdale

After the explosive announcement of Sabrina Spellman’s appearance in Riverdale Season 6, a new trailer for the upcoming season teases plenty of horror-fueled hijinks to come to the Bloodied City. As Cheryl Blossom launches her cult of black magic, Archie Andrews is seen finding love with Betty Cooper before Sabrina makes her long-awaited return.

Developed for television by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Season 6 of Riverdale will air November 16 on The CW.

Starfield

The first major Xbox-exclusive title to come from Bethesda Softworks following Microsoft’s acquisition of the venerable video game studio is Starfield. A new trailer introduces players to the game’s immersive worlds and competing factions, United Colonies and Freestar Collective, as they vie for control of a part of the Milky Way known as the Settled Systems.

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, Starfield will be released on November 11 for Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Super crooks

Following this year Jupiter’s legacy, hit comic book creator Mark Millar is set to release a different kind of overkill original series on Netflix. Adaptation of the 2012 comic book mini-series by Millar and Leinil Francis Yu, Super crooks features an animated version of the world of supervillains, with a group of overpowered criminals who achieve an epic score… if they can learn to work together.

Directed by Motonobu Hori, Super Crooks premieres November 25 on Netflix.

Sword art online

The last Sword art online The animated film released not one but two trailers last week to announce its release in Japan next week. Based on the series of light novels created by Reki Kawahara and abec, Sword Art Online Progressive: Looks like a starless night presents Asuna and Kirito attempting to escape the deadly fantasy world of virtual reality they have both been trapped in.

Directed by Ayako Kōno, Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night will be released on October 30 in Japan, with a limited theatrical release in North America slated for December 3.

Unexplored

After years of late development, Sony’s beloved video game franchise Unexplored is finally making the leap to a live-action feature film adaptation next year. A first trailer shows fan-favorite protagonist Nathan Drake first meeting with eventual best friend and mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan, while also teasing a lot of the action-adventure chaos that the video game series is known.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Uncharted hits theaters February 18.
