Thainstone Specialist Auctions’ latest online collective saw over 660 bidders join the live online auction, and a timed online auction of builders and industrial equipment also took place in the days preceding the sale.
With good quality used equipment highly sought after, the best prices achieved that day included a 2018 GT 8 Axle extendable artic low bed trailer selling for £30,000, a 2011 Volvo EC55C
a midi crawler excavator sells for £16,500 and a 20ft Stewart twin deck sheep float with flatbed trailer sells for £8,000.
A 2012 John Deere 4×4 Gator with cab was bought for £11,000, and in the light commercials and 4x4s section, a 2016 Ford Ranger XLT double cab pick-up fetched £14,200.
In the heavy adverts section a 2011 SCANIA P340 sold for £10,000.
