V Rising announces a closed beta on March 23; New trailer presented

A new trailer for Stunlock Studios’ upcoming open-world vampire survival game known as V Rising has been announced. Not only that, but the game has been confirmed to enter a new closed beta phase which players can request to enter now. The first V Rising test session will last for a week, giving invited players a chance to build castles, hunt blood, and explore the gothic world of Vardoran before the game launches in Early Access. All of this is done with the goal of becoming the next Dracula. Players will have to feed on humans in order to gain new powers and manage their castles.

The Closed Beta will allow for solo or co-op play as you battle bandits, mystical creatures, and the light-wielding Church of Luminance in thrilling skill-based combat. If you’re more of a combative type, you can take on other players in PvP. On PvP servers, the addition of player versus player combat will allow them to test their skills against each other, adding an extra deadly challenge to the equation.

Currently, Stunlock Studios has announced that it will be able to accommodate up to 3000 players during this closed beta phase. The test duration (as noted above) will also be one of the longest yet for this game. The in-game beta content will include all four regions the team plans to introduce with Early Access. Much of the content is still in development and will continue to improve on the road to the Early Access release.

V Rising is currently available on Steam in Early Access. Players can list the game and apply for a place in the closed beta here.
