Wakanda Forever Trailer Teases T’Challa’s Successor

The first trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever debuted during the MCU panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

The first one Black Panther: Wakanda Forever the trailer has debuted. The highly anticipated sequel of 2018 Black Panther has been in the works for a long time and, following the tragic passing of acclaimed actor Chadwick Boseman, has taken on added weight as Marvel works to honor the legacy of T’Challa and the actor behind him. Ryan Coogler returns to direct the sequel, and much of the original cast will once again be on camera, with Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and Letitia Wright all reprising their roles.

Prior to the launch of the trailer, little was known about the film’s plot except what could be inferred from actual events. With Coogler and the cast commenting on how the film would honor Boseman’s legacy, it was long speculated that a member of T’Challa’s family would succeed him as Black Panther. How this would relate to the conflict with Atlantis remains unclear. Additionally, new cast members have been announced, with Michaela Coel and Tenoch Huerta reportedly joining the cast.

Now, audiences got their first look at the next Marvel movie with the first Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer. The trailer follows T’Challa’s remaining family as they seem to come to terms with their loss. Elsewhere, conflict is simmering and the black panther 2 The trailer gives audiences their first look at the MCU’s version of Atlanteans. According to the eyes of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, it looks like the film’s plot will be two-pronged, with one branch following the Wakandan royal family as they come to terms with the loss of T’Challa and the other following the growing conflict between the African nation and Atlantis. How all of this will determine who T’Challa’s Black Panther successor will be remains to be seen, but the fact that the trailer doesn’t outright reveal it means it could be a major talking point of the movie or even multiple people could be deemed worthy to wear the mantle.

Although most of the plot details remain a mystery, one thing can be gleaned from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer – it will be just as, if not more, stunning than the first film. From Coogler’s panoramic images of Wakanda to the underwater seascapes of Atlantis, the Black Panther the sequel will not lack breathtaking scenery. It is too early to tell, but with Black Panther the only superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, it seems almost certain that wakanda forever could enter the conversation about the race for rewards.
