Rising Nigerian social media influencer Opeyemi Kareem has been confirmed dead after being crushed by a teaser trailer on Saturday April 9.

The news has since circulated among his friends, colleagues and fans and most of them took to his Instagram page which has 65,000 followers to express their shock and wish the news was not true.

Most of the commenters on his page were shocked to see the sad news as they attested to chatting with the deceased on the WhatsApp app just minutes before the ugly incident happened in Lagos.

Opeyemi Kareem’s death comes shortly after gospel singer Osinachi passed away on Friday, April 8.
